Courtney loved the idea of fall. She loved the berries, leaves, branches, and colors of fall. We love fall weddings because the colors are just so rich and saturated and the mood so romantic. We took inspiration from fall transitioning into winter in the east coast, so at the wedding, we went ahead and featured our favorite fall materials. The designs created for the arrangements included pods, privet berries, wheat (both green and dried), kale, late season dahlias, luscious burgundy tree peonies, tallow berries, dogwood branches and so many dried colorful leaves. Congratulations to Travis and Courtney!Read More »

We were in Carmel for Heather and Ryan’s wedding. It felt as if everything blooming in the gardens surrounding the church and Pasadera Country Club was blooming just for couple. The bougainvilleas at the Carmel Mission matched Heather’s wedding palette perfectly. It was wonderful working with a couple who knew what they wanted and allowed us the space to achieve that vision.Read More »
I love autumn weddings. The weather has turned and so have the leaves on the trees. It is no longer blisteringly hot outside, but cool and breezy. We get to forgo the pastel palette for one so much more vibrant, rich and deep. We get to use more fruits, berries, branches and leaves to add a bit of the season to our arrangements.
There are so much more textures available during this time of the year. Look around and perhaps you will find some inspiration to incorporate into your wedding or event.
